Cologne & Paris Imm Cologne and Now! Design a vivre, two important International Trade Fairs where the best in contemporary design is exhibited.
New proposals from Zanotta for 2007 Zanotta is due to present three innovative products for the home and for contract customers at the Cologne and Paris appointments. The new Talia chair by Roberto Barbieri is the fruit of the design evolution of the Lia aluminium alloy chair, which is now available in the practical stackable and transportable version. The elegant and versatile series of modular Gamma sofas and armchairs by Emaf Progetti. And a first class re-edition: the Karelia armchair designed in 1966 by the Finnish Liisi Beckmann, interpreted in a swinging Sixties style with a new fabric treated with shiny Texirè. In the unprecedented atmosphere of the stands designed by Bertero-Panto-Marzoli, another new cover will be presented: the soft and resistant Tango made of doubled polyester fleece. A preview of the new proposals you’ll find at Imm Cologne from 15th to 21st of January, where you mustn’t miss: the Design Talents area, the Inspired by Cologne competition, prototypes on show, Future point, with the design schools and NRG, a research and innovation forum. You’ll find updates on the Designspotter portal as well as the hit guide featuring protagonists and trends from 11th of January. The second appointment with the new Zanotta design is in Paris from 26th to 30th of January at Now! Design à vivre, which will take place within the setting of the multi-form and variegated Maison & Objet with events and exhibitions including the personal exhibition of the work of Noe Duchaufour-Lawrance, the interior decorator who designed the Dessouschic table and console for Zanotta.
